Busy week!
Here is Ghelfy and Bethsida. It was wonderful to be able to see Ghelfy get married and to a very beautiful young woman. The sealer did the ceremony totally in Spanish for 1/2 hour. We were two of three people that didn't speak Spanish. It is great to know that even though we didn't understand, we felt the spirit. We are grateful for all the things we have learned from Ghelfy and the time he lived with us.
The badges are gone and the Wallys are home. The kids are so excited and Donna has her work cut out for her since they have a list of things they want to do with Grandma and Grandpa. It was wonderful to feel of their spirit and the love they have for the Lord. Their mission was just plain hard with little glory but ....they were able to serve others and bless their family by their example.
I got a surprise visit this week from this cutie. Love the grin. He is eating my home made pita bread. He ate the whole thing. They weren't the best but still better than the stuff at the grocery store. His clothes are in the dryer if you are wondering about his outfit!
I had a hard time getting Edie to feel comfortable and settled. I ended up giving her back to her mom most of the time. It made me smile ( inside) as I remembered all the times I tried to leave Brooke with someone and would have to come home to console my crying baby. Momma's girl! Twice.
Happy 91st birthday to my mom. We celebrated by going to a new place where none of us had been for lunch. It was yummy and we thought ourselves very clever. Then we went shopping!!!Something we all love to do (not).
