I was looking at Memorial Days in the past on the blog.  It is fun to see what we did in the past couple of years.  I smiled when I saw that we did the same thing last year as we did this year however, our volunteer kids are shrinking.  We continue to work on the shed              ( painting it a barn red) minus Brooke and Whit.  They went to Vegas for their anniversary and left Winston with us.  It has been a lot of fun having a baby in the house and a lot of work.  We didn't have the Devotional that I like to have on certain holidays.  Too hard with the distraction of a cute baby.  Instead of Hawaiian ice that Whit likes, we drove to Springville to get a .49 slurpee...trying to get Winston to take a nap.  Ha!  Didn't work.

Kira was looking at old pictures.  I look at my three kids under the age of four and am amazed that I got anything done at all.  Love those chubby cheeks Ty.  I am grateful we have Memorial Day.  I appreciate the time we have to think about those that have served our country.  I love going to the cemetery and seeing all the decorations and seeing all the families that gather.  I hope Winston sleeps really good tonight...one more day to go and I  hope that my garden doesn't drown in all this rain ( just planted seeds...whaaaaaa).

My dad served as an equipment manager in World War ll.  This is his ID and Dog Tags.  He traveled to Egypt, Jordan, and places in the Mid East.  He traveled in the back of bombers and was rather deaf after that because of the  noise.  He didn't talk a lot about the war and saw no active duty but I am grateful for his generation and all those that served.  We have been blessed by them.
Happy Memorial Day because of them.  Thank you.
