Slow Down Summer...you move too Fast!

Sunday photo shoot
I asked McKay to send me a nice picture of him and Loida that I could put up in the house.  On Sunday when we talked to them, I told Loida she was going to have to do better with that smile of hers.  She insists she is smiling.  Should we take a vote?
It has been a lot of fun to get to know Loida and wonderful to see how happy McKay is.
Just getting ready to begin!

Fun Times With Friends

They are even good cold...the next day too!
Ilene worked at a car hop in high school.  Her twin sister married the owner.  They learned how to make the world's best onion rings and fries in the world.  I do not exaggerate.

Kevin was trying to get the shadows off his eyes

Sweet Tooth Fairy cupcakes....

and home made ice cream...Bob knows how to do it right!

Dubbed "Wheelchair Volleyball"...we sat in a circle and hit the ball back and forth...that is how we "worked" off our dinner..well it was fun anyway.

When we messed up and missed the ball we got to pick something from the dress up box.

Bocce ball...looking good Barb!

After eating more than anyone comfortably can, Kim and I went home and started reading the scriptures with Kira.   When Kira excused herself and went outside, we found this...
Neighborhood graffiti instigators

I have great friends that believe in alerting the neighborhood!

Ilene always finds the ideal gift...can't wait to use these!

Jordan River Trail beginning in South Jordan

Whit's question at the beginning of the ride...Does anyone want added aerobic benefits?   He didn't find any takers but Winston slept the entire ride which was great.
This guy whizzed past all of us on the bikes...this is what he does to stay in shape for x country skiing and shooting in the winter.  It was fun to watch him skate.
I promise you when I say that Whit said..".I was smiling" and he was serious...Just look at Winston--he knows.

Father's Day has come and gone but it was sooo nice to have Dallin home and Kira.   A tradition that started when Bryce and Dallin were little was the candy gram.  They knew that was something that was easy and fun to make and usually the candy was shared afterwards!  Win win situation.  Kira was a little miffed when Dallin stole her thunder and gave his to Kim before her.  However, we all enjoyed the "messages" of love and sugar.   We had the unusual experience of having Kim home all day long and there weren't even any phone calls.  Weird but nice.  Now it's on to Kim's birthday...all good things come in clumps you know.
