McKay and Loida | | |
|
|
McKay and Loida both live in Zhengzhou. They just signed contracts to teach at Elementary schools for two years on the other side of the city. We are happy that it all worked out the way they wanted and that they will be making more money and McKay will get to teach children, which he loves. BUT ....two years is a long time as someone in our family once recorded in his journal. I AGREE! However, I will
smile.

Michelle and Jonathan |
Last Friday while I was serving at the temple, I helped a handsome young groom find the room he was looking for. Little did I know that he was Michelle's fiance since I had never met him. Michelle has been a good friend of McKay's forever. We are so happy for them and loved seeing them at their reception.

They should look happy! |

Tyler has signed a teaching contract with University of Wisconsin, River Falls. It is close to Minneapolis-St. Paul...which has an airport! They are pretty excited to begin making money, establishing a home and being in lots of snow. Well. ...not the snow part so much but it has great cross country skiing...which we just happen to love doing! We have all been so happy for them and grateful to see a wonderful new beginning. Good-bye Bloomington--you were a great place to visit.

Dallin with his companion that he trained, the Daniels and Lemme's. |
I was in the kitchen early Sunday morning when the front door opened. That's weird, I thought. In came Dallin from Vegas. I was so happy to see him. He came home for a visit and was able to arrive in time early that morning to hear Elder Tuttle speak...just home from Japan.
Today we put the trampoline up for his "game night" with friends.
Those are the kind of surprises I really like even though I sorta knew he was coming.
It has been a great week as dreams, hopes, and family ties have come together and we have prayed for one another and seen good things come to past. I love it but I miss my "kids". How did they grow up so fast anyway?
