Wedding Cake

I have had some requests to post pictures of the wedding cake I made for my friend Karen. It was a full two day labor of love! I gained some useful skills and have found that enjoy decorating cakes. As you can see, this cake doesn't really have decoration. I ran out of time. I spent too much time baking and not enough decorating. Every tier is a different flavor. The bottom is red velvet with cream cheese filling, the middle is a white almond cake with raspberry filling, and the top is my own creation, brownie cheesecake. I had to glue the silver ribbon onto the black and try my skills at flower arranging. It didn't turn out quite like I had hoped. If I could have had a few more hours, it would have looked a lot better. It was also a little lopsided.
