October Fun

Here is McKay at work.  Today is his last day and Pumpkin Land ends and the nursery goes into hibernation.  It was fun to see where he works.
It was also McKay's 29th birthday.  Here is his car that Susie wrote on.  The other side of the car has a window that says...honk if you think I'm hot.  He got a few responses to that and was quite anxious to clean that window. 

We had fun meeting a lot of his friends that came over that night to celebrate his birthday. 
The next night we had the Stake Presidency and wives over for dinner and Halloween fun.  Here are some great shots of the game we played called Trick or Treat. 

 Yes, this is the Stake Presidency and wives...such a nice looking bunch.   We had a great time and enjoyed seeing the fun side of each other for a little while. 
We went shopping at the mall on the 30th.  It was pouring rain and there were lots of Trick or Treaters that had come in from the weather.  I don't think the stores had any idea that they would be deluged.  While we were going to our car, we were approached by a young man with long hair and a beard.  He was very polite and asked if we had any change.  We just use our credit card for everything so I said no.  There was something about him that tugged at me and so when we got in the car, I went through the boot and found all our change and had Kim drive through the lot until we found him and gave him what we had.  It made me wonder about him but I just had tender feelings and I don't know why.
