Funny Week

Ghelfy got back from serving in Richmond Virginia.  He lived with us before leaving on his mission.  It is great to see him and hear about his experiences.
Violet went home.  It was with mixed emotions that we took back the garage and used it once again for our cars.
We went to Vineyard Gardens to see where McKay works.  Susie was wearing a funky hat which seemed very Susie and we did the corn maze, went through the Pumpkin "light" show and bought pansies.  I have pansies in my yard!   McKay and Susie spent an evening carving pumpkins and they baked the seeds.  Yum.
We had great excitement when we went down to the basement to get rooms ready for my niece and her friends and found water, water, water everywhere in the bedroom.  We had a plumber come and he said it was the water heater so we yanked out the water heater, got up early the next morning and got a new one and brought it home while navigating the wonderful Utah County road construction and had friends that knew what they were doing and had the tools to do it, help install the new water heater.  In the meantime, they checked the basement and said...oh contraire... ( a little French) ..it is your shower.  So our sweet niece came to a torn up basement, no shower, no hot water until the next morning, and we had a great time visiting and meeting Brian ( boyfriend) and Stephanie (room mate).
Rain has come to SF with the promise of snow.  Change is definitely in the air.
