God's Hand In Our Lives

Gail Halverson....the Candy Bomber with Tom Brokaw

We got to try out the Frontrunner from Provo to Salt Lake.  It took only an hour!!!  It was also very crowded and the line to get a pass was long and slow.  Talk about heart palpitations....will we make it in time.  We enjoyed going to listen to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas performance.  The stage set was incredible and our favorite part was the "Candy Bomber".  He is a member of our stake and has a book written about his World War II experiences where he would drop candy tied in little parachutes down to the children on the other side of the Berlin Wall.  During his introduction at the Concert, little parachutes with candy dropped from the ceiling of the Conference Center.  It was very touching.  He is 92 years young!
It was standing room only from Orem to Salt Lake...Frontrunner

Mormon Tabernacle Christmas Concert

On Sunday, I got an early Christmas present when my friend Donna sent me an email.  It was the nicest surprise.  Then I got to talk to Donna and it was wonderful to get a quick visit in and tell her thank you.   Donna and John met Bryce's 2nd companion on his mission.  If you would like to read about it and it's sweet message of God's hand in the details of our lives, check out Tributetobryce.blogspot.com.    The cute little baby's name is Bryce.  Whahoo.  Merry Christmas everyone!
