Education Week but I wasn't there! Wha!!!!!!!

Current Creek Reservoir
McKay and Dallin amused themselves when they weren't fishing by taking some pretty awesome pictures and doing a lot of jump shots in the water

We are following Whit and Kim as they walk up stream in search of fish.

Dallin posing in typical Christensen casualness.

McKay with an expression that is becoming more frequent in his shots.

Whit loves to fly fish.  It is a passion --so we thought we should all learn more about this sport.  He was a great teacher and my favorite expression he shouted out..."Holy Fish!" ...did you see that?  Almost as good as "Holy Cow"?

Brooke kept her swollen ankles in the water to stay cool ...her bum got a little of the action also.

Whit is tutoring Kim who actually caught a pretty big trout...it was fun!
Monday came and I went to serve in the Provo temple at 5 a.m.  It is a awesome time to be up and about.  I get a great parking space, low density freeway traffic, and the day is still young when I get done.   Chris came that afternoon from Washington state.  I met Chris on a missionary mom group.  Her son and Dallin served in the Sapporo mission together and her older son served in Durban right before Bryce got down to CapeTown.  We had a lot of great conversation and the Daniels made it over for a short visit.  So nice we don't have to go to Japan to see them anymore. ( Dallin's Mission Pres. and wife).  Wednesday night we went to the temple with all our current Utah kids...last time before McKay leaves for China.  It was wonderful and we ate at a Chinese restaurant of course.   Then we met Brooke and Whit up at Current Creek for a family campout.  Here are some pictures of the event:
McKay hauled this huge log and "broke" it into pieces...I guess all that strength training paid off!
Our family works hard to have great expressions for photo shots!
