Memorial Weekend

We went to Brigham to have a family reunion and decorate Dad Christensen's grave with mom.  ( I also put something on my dad's grave).  We had a few projects to do, went to the cemetery, ate lunch and talked about what everyone's family is doing and paid tributes to Mom.  There were some great stories about her and memories of growing up.
Giving Mom a blessing ...her legs were swollen up

The original 5 K's and Mom...it took a few times to get her to smile but that looks pretty big!

Matt's job...find the key to the lock ( there were soooo many keys!)

At the cemetery in Brigham...at Dad's grave

The work is done, food eaten and good times shared!

Kerry and Eleanor were there at the beginning but had Shea's graduation  to go to !!!!
This isn't the picture but it is pretty cool.
We drove home and Dallin informed me that it was really, really boring.  We were the ones in charge and so I felt badly that we didn't have more excitement but it was long enough for Grandma.  Kim and I went to Bryce's grave and put up a South Africa flag and a picture of him jumping up at Grandpa's grave site a year before he left for his mission.  It reminds me that he is happy because he is  grinning in the picture.

Yay I'm glad you posted about the reunion. I was sad to miss it. It looks like they are getting smaller and smaller as the grandkids grow up and move away:( But I'm glad Grandma got to see her kids.
So is your dad in Brigham as well and not American Fork?
