Aunt Adele and the UPS Man

On Friday, I spent the day with my family and cousins, celebrating the life and death of my Aunt Adele. She said that her children were her crowning jewels. She had wonderful children and I am grateful to have grown up knowing them. We don't get together often...mostly at weddings and funerals but we always feel a great connection and know there is more than this life that connects us.
The story of the UPS man reflects much about my Aunt Adele and her husband Ralph who passed on a few years before her. I noticed this couple at the cememtery and went up to introduce myself and ask how they were connected. Mr. Williams told me that he had been my Aunt's UPS driver for 25 years and that his weight gain could be directly attributed to her good cooking. He said Ralph always wanted to show him his latest project and Aunt Adele would always have a goody or treat to give to him. He was there to honor their friendship to him. It touched me and reminded me that we can always make a difference in everyone lives that we come in contact with. It may be hard to identify the UPS man in this picture but he is behind Craig, the speaker and has glasses.
