Happy Father's Day

I think I have an awesome dad,
he's even awesome when he's mad.
He never gets mad though, he's too cool,
I visit him when I'm at school.
That's not a lot now, cause I'm all done;
not visiting him is less than fun.
No candy in the candy jar
To get some; would be too far.
It's quite a shame cause my dad's the bomb
It would be nice if Alaska was closer to him and mom.
It's not though so I use the phone;
He didn't answer today and I'm home alone.
Just thinking of how I feel kind of bad
Because I didn't get anything for my dad who's rad.
He deserves more stuff than I can give.
He's half the reason I get to live.
What's more is that he makes life real fun
Because he always thinks of everyone.
Including me; he is real nice.
I talk to him when I need advice.
He's crafty and makes cool things.
Sometimes he acts crazy and tries to sing.
I love my dad; he is the best.
He's a bit ahead of all the rest.
This father's day I want to say
I love you dad. Happy father's day!
