Happy 37th Anniversary Stuff

It has been a week of unexpected things, events and thoughts.  On Monday our friends in Texas Googled us and the wives listened while the husbands talked about Hong Kong.  We invited the Abney's over for FHE later that evening.  They have been home a year from serving a mission in Turkey and are waiting for their next assignment to arrive in the mail.  We are waiting too!  Talk about an exciting time to be a missionary.  Their stories and experiences were scary, amazing, and something you could make a movie about.

Wednesday Kim really did take the day off.  I didn't think he would and I had scheduled VT appointments.  He went with me!  That was nice.  We ran the 5K course for our stake run in June.  We put a pinwheel on Bryce's grave.  We ate the yummiest shrimp I have ever had at Shoots and Kim worked on getting ready for his bees.  It was a really nice day and made up for the meetings Kim had in the evening.
Saturday, a cold and rainy day, the bees came.
Suiting up...the bees are in the white tubs

Shaking them into the hive

Putting the queen bee in

Today, Loida modeled her baptism clothes ...they are flying to Xiamen ( or something like that) and having a baptism interview with the branch president.  Then if she passes, McKay will baptize her.  In the ocean.  Yup.  Happy Days.
The celebration continues because tomorrow we are going to Wisconsin!!!!!! Look out kiddoes...here comes Grandma!!!!!
