Friday. Natalie met with her publisher to talk about the book and ask some questions. It was a great meeting and Natalie is learning a lot about getting published--this has been a great experience for her. While she was gone I scanned some of her pictures and finished creating her websites to showcase her artwork. You can find it now at www.nataliechristensen.com. In the evenign we ordered pizza and they messed up our order so we got a coupon for a free pizza--pretty cool. We watched "The Final Season," a poorly done movie by Sean Astin about a high school baseball team.
Saturday. I was awake with Sharon at 4:00 and able to finish preparing my talk for Sunday. At 7:00 we loaded up and went down to the Louisville, KY temple. When I finished my work there we talked to Bryce and the rest of the family on the phone (he gets to call from South Africa for Mother's day). We then drove over to the zoo and spent the beautiful afternoon there. Here are a few pictures.
Sunday. I gave a sacrament meeting talk on "The Sanctity of Womanhood." I basically regurgitated Elder Scott's talk of the same name from 2000. Because of the topic I was given I became very emotional and had a hard time giving what I had prepared. It was definitely not one of my more masculine moments.
After church we ate and the other three took naps while I continued cooking. In all I'd say I did pretty good for the day: I cooked crepes for breakfast, did grilled ham and cheese for lunch, poppeyseed chicken with all the fixins for dinner and a baked cheesecake (that I prepared Friday) for dessert. We ate it with our friend Sage. When we returned home I finally got ahold of mom on the phone and we chatted for a bit. Here's my Mother's day poem for her...
Mom is great, mom is nice,
Mom does give me great advice,
When I think she's done it all,
Mom goes the extra mile and orders pizza from Papa Johns.
Oh, a couple more things. I also updated our family website over the weekend and added a couple of videos. You can see them at www.tyandnat.com. And... I wrote a few book reviews over the weekend. You can read them at www.richonanyincome.com. O.k. That's all.

I am glad you had a good weekend; sorry about your allergies...Dad is having a very hard time also so it is nice that it rained today. I am excited about Dallin...he got up at 5:15 and went running with your dad and dad had one of his fastest times yet!
