I Think I am Definitely Slower

Fall is in the air.  The garden is happily producing...and producing...and
The bees did their best.  We think there was a lazy Queen in one of the hives.  We extracted this much honey...Whaaaaaaa
Not much.  Kim is thinking this might be the end of bees in our yard until he has more time.  I could take over the business but personally...bees sting.  The suit isn't that cute either and it is just plain hot.  Kim has sweat like crazy after doing bee stuff.  So here is the strangest thing that happened.  He put out the soupers after extracting for the bees to glean the leftovers.  I was in the bedroom and there was the loudest bee racket outside the window.  I went outside, and what it appeared to bee, was our neighbors bees across the street making a "bee line" to our loot.  It was bee city.  Then I noticed later all these bees lying dead on the cement by the soupers.
That is bees wax and bees.  It is so strange and baffling.  We wonder if they ate too much honey?  They are littered all over our cement pad.  A moment of silence please.
There is also mourning over the end of the peaches.  Here is the last of the loot.
Notice the peaches oozing over the edge.  Clearly I did not cook the mixture long enough and it was super runny and super good with raspberries.  Nothing like fresh peach pie.  Anyone for a peach smoothie...I got goobs of peaches stacked neatly ( not) in the freezer.
Kim, Kira and I are trying to clean up our eating habits.  Disregard the peach pie picture.
The hardest...drinking enough water.  There are nights where Kim and I get no sleep when we have successfully completed the goal of  64 oz.
I am showing my colors even though the game was not victorious.  We rode our bikes up and back Hobble Creek...great ride/ burning calves and someone yelled out in regards to my BYU t-shirt  (It was game day) ...UTAH!  Well personally I don't mind who wins as long as it is a good game.  Enough said.  I still love BYU and listening to my boys as they yak back and forth about the game.  So not their dad.
We had the summer Stake Social.  No pictures this year.  I didn't have to plan it and so I just enjoyed the ride.  However, I did get to swing a real golf club and hit balls...Pres. Blair's yard has a big field behind it and even though he had a net up, some balls just go away.  Yikes.
There are so many things swimming around in my head that I need to be doing.  For now, I am off to eat salad for breakfast.  Got to get those veggies in.
PS

One more moment of silence as we think of cute Melanie going to Korea for 18 months.  Dallin got to participate in her setting apart which he is hoping will take and there will be more experiences in the future.  They do look so nice together.
