How Do We Get There?

I wanted to video these two girls.  They were so much fun to watch slump over.  The man next to them tried his best to look like nothing was happening when the girl would almost lay her head on his shoulder.

Does he look comfortable to you?

Great shot of the difference between Americans and Asians!

Dallin found his friend Yu's mum in her native home ward ( she lives in California and was home for a visit)

My interpreter for Relief Society...darling RM that served in Hawaii

We rode a lot of subways and trains but they weren't as crowded as Hong Kong!

Always walking up or down stairs....always

Sunday afternoon walking along the ocean front and finding starfish washed up on the sidewalk

Funny sayings every once in a while

One of the most interesting things to me about being in a big city is the Public Transportation System.  It is so different than where we live and how we  just get in the car.  Lots of bikes everywhere in Osaka.  We attended church that was the closest to our apartment ( train ride away) and got to hear newly arrived missionaries share their testimonies in Japanese...they did great.  Dallin helped translate for me.  It was a reminder again that we are an international church and I loved seeing their enthusiasm for the gospel.  We felt right at home.  We spent the afternoon checking out the areas near the ocean.  It was hot and we were a little slow at doing things. I am wishing I was as diligent as Dallin in recording our adventures and thoughts but I was just tooooooo tired every night.  I don't know when I have slept better.  Sunday was a nice break as we took it easy and relaxed from our tour de Japan.
