The kiddos, the race and March

Eli and Sharon coloring hard boiled eggs.
Tyler's family drove from Indiana to see Natalie's artwork on display at the Church History Museum.  We were all excited when her work was accepted!  Tyler and Natalie spent a day going to the temple and things and left the kids with me.  We had a lot of fun coloring eggs, putting candy in plastic eggs and hiding them in the yard for their parents to find when they got home.  It was beautiful weather and perfect for pre-Easter activities!
Hiding the eggs

Eli and Sharon were happy when their parents hid the eggs for them to find after they collected them.

Playing Bocce ball with Grandpa

So cute

The next morning we did the bike trail to Canyon park.  Tyler is "skipping" rocks.

Poor Spencer...we found out later that he has strep throat.  No wonder he was so miserable.

Can you find Kira, Brooke and Kim?  Rex E. Lee race
The first race Kim and I ever did after we started jogging was the Rex E. Lee race.  I had read the book "Marathon of Faith" by Rex and Janet Lee about his journey with cancer and his death and was motivated to start jogging in the mornings.  We found out about the race to honor him at BYU and decided to try a race since it was a 5 k.   Tyler and Brooke ran it with us.  Tyler was my coach and stayed with me to the end.  It was a great experience and we have been running since.
Rex E. Lee race 2012...10 years later from our first race!

The end of the race...smiles all around

Kim got second place in his division.  He also won tickets to Thanksgiving Point.  He wasn't real excited but I was! ( About the tickets)

Bowling after the race... Winston loves his fingers.

Gotta have that final pose...some are better than others!
