Birthdays and Presidents

Don Quixote --Ballet West--can you see Kira, Brooke and Kim?
Birthdays

We have two birthdays in Feb.  Brooke and Kira are 3 years apart.
Brooke treated Kira to the ballet for her birthday.   Kim and I tagged along.
The Birthday Girls...Feb. 9th and 10th--Kira made the cake and it was yummy!  They have requested German Chocolate every year of their lives as far as I can remember...good thing they like the same kind.
Brooke and Whit came to celebrate on Brooke's birthday.  We played games sorta.  Best part is just being together.

Winston is smiling a lot these days.  You can't see his thighs but I think he is giving Spencer a run for his money!
Spencer turned one in Jan. He needs glasses to help one of his eyes--ask Nat for details.

    VALENTINES DAY
Valentine  bookmark--Eli

Sharon--These bookmarks were sent to us by Nat.  She has the cutest Valentine ideas.

These are my Valentines from McKay.  He has done this type of Valentine for the past couple of years and everyone thinks they are cool!

                                                President's Day in Oakley

President's Day ....snow!!!   We went up to Whit's family cabin and hiked to the pond.  We took a "short cut".. gotta love those short cuts.  We sunk down in the powder and got a great work out as we snowshoe-d and skied.  It reminded me of the time that we went to the Uintahs with Ty and Nat.  It was Nat's first time x country skiing and we did a lot of tree hugging--it was another one of Kim's "short cuts".

Winston slept the whole time we hiked and skied.

It was a beautiful day.  We had sooo much fun.  We were exhausted when we got done.
While Brooke and Whit snowshoe-d on the road, Kim and I skied down the mountain.  It was the funnest run.  The road had some great turns and hills.  We haven't had much snow this year and thus no x country skiing but this day was the BEST!   We were too tired to go snowmobiling later.  We played games and then as it got darker and later, we packed up the snowmobiles and drove through the snowing night to our cars...it was magical -- and a wonderful day.
