Fall is Coming...Conference is HERE!

Payson Lakes

Last Monday we drove up to Payson Lakes to enjoy the colors and have a picnic.  We didn't get to do that during the summer but it is prime time to go now as the colors are changing, there are few people and it is nice and cool.  We enjoyed seeing the deer wander about and the fish jumping.
Saturday morning session at General
Conference

Sister Saito with the missionary that taught her and the  missionary that baptized her in Sapporo Japan. She has been a member less than a year and came to see her boys and then go on a Church History tour around New York.  She was a wonderful person to meet! and we just happened to see them as we waited to go into the morning session.  They served the same time as Dallin and the one on the left was the AP when we went to pick up Dallin in Japan.

Thai Basil for lunch in South Jordan.  Yummy.

Mandarin Orange chicken and pot stickers.

Daybreak trails before Priesthood...trying to get that baby to come! It was a beautiful day to be out.

This is the last session of Conference.  On one side of me was a family from our ward and looking down the row, were two other families from our ward or stake.  It was fun to be with them and to enjoy Conference together.  When I was a student at BYU I would tell my room mates that I wanted to marry a General Authority so that I would always have tickets to Conference.  Well...I think someone was listening and this is as good as it gets to be able to go to every Conference and sit with Saints from all over the world and soak in the spirit and words from our leaders.  I just love it.  I don't know what we will do for tickets when Kim gets released but it is sure great for now.  We are already looking forward to April!
