Japan and Back

Sister Daniels is cutting Dallin's tie.  That may seem a little extreme but ties are $1 in Japan.  This signifies the end of Dallin's mission.  The Daniels have all the missionaries sign the ties and they are making a wall hanging out of all of them.  We were so happy to be a part of the end of mission dinner and ceremonies.  There were 11 missionaries going home...big group and they were being replaced by 3 missionaries.  Big hole.
We loved being in the mission home and seeing how things run.

Here we are at a big Asian grocery store.  There were many different kinds of food.  Dallin is taking us up and down the isles and explaining what all the packages, boxes and bags contain.  I actually loved the food and tried as many different types as I could.

This food actually looks very much like American spaghetti.  It is how many restaurants would show their menu outside for the people to see.  They would have plates with rubber food.

We visited this shrine in Sapporo and got to see an actual wedding with traditional clothing.  It was snowing and very cold and we walked but it was beautiful with the white blanket coming down.
