Conference Weekend at Grandma's

Saturday we had a gathering of family from Idaho, California, and Utah.  It was great to get together and discuss things to help Mom with as all the K's were in attendance.  Afterwards, during the Priesthood session, the girls played games.  We played Skipbo ...a Sunday tradition when we lived close by and two truths and a lie.  We asked Kerry to guess when the guys got back but he had a hard time identifying some.
Here are the statements...see how you do:
1. I wanted to have twins. 2. I went skinny dipping on BYU survival.  3.  I wet my pants in first grade. Aunt Karen...did not want to have twins.
1. I ran out of gas during my driving test. 2. I have visited every temple in Utah.  3. I like to sleep in late. Helen has not visited every temple
1.  I have 6 people in my family. 2. I love salad. I love, love, love, love, love candy. Elise does not love salad.
1. I can do synchronize  swimming.  2. My favorite book for many years was Gone with the Wind. 3. My greatest wish is to live in a treehouse like Swiss Family Robinson.  Wynette does not wish to live in tree house...just have one as a second home.
1. My brother and sister are 10 1/2 months apart. 2. I have 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. 3. I rode on a giraffe.  Aunt Diane never rode a giraffe.
1. I was lazy when I was little.  2. I climbed Mt. Everest.  3.  I love to do puzzles.  Aunt Eleanor never climbed Mt. Everest.
1. My favorite Bible story is Daniel and the Lion's Den. 2. I want to get married in the Draper temple. 3. I play the piano.  Keklia ( can't spell her name!) wants to get married in Oquirrah temple
1. I was a telephone operator.  2. when I was little my nickname was Pickles.  3. I drove from Alabama to Utah with the kids by myself.   Grandmas did not drive alone to Utah..she had her hubby.

We had a fun time being together and it was great to catch up on all the news.
