Natalie and Eli
Natalie delayed going home after Bryce's funeral for a few days so the grandparents could enjoy their grandkids. Eli and Natalie went in the back yard and played in the snow. Eli doesn't usually get to play in snow but he has gotten snow in Indiana this winter. If Grandma could have wishes come true, Eli would be her next door neighbor. Thanks Natalie for that time! We miss you all.

March 14 Uintah adventure...see Whit Go
Brooke skied off the beaten track and then others followed. It was fun until everyone hit a certain point and all went klunk.
March 14, 2009 Uintah Adventure
This is LaMar singing one of the songs he wrote about Lindsay. We enjoyed having our own concert in the snow.
Uintah Adventure March 14, 2009
We had a wonderful day in the sun and our faces looked like it afterwards. The snow was crusty and icy so we slid really good. We went on the Beaver Creek trail and had a great time. We went with Brooke, Whit, his sister Lindsay and her husband LaMar. It was the first time for LaMar and Lindsay to go cross country skiing and they did great.

March 7, 2009 Dinner on Bryce.
We had Bryce's Spanish Fork friends over for steak courtesy of Bryce. We used his money to buy not only the steaks but the very nice new grill because our old grill that we have had for over 15 years was getting a little dangerous! It was great having them in our home!
Surprise Birthday Was That Week Dinner
Whit and Brooke surprised us in Feb. at the end of Brooke's birthday week ( Feb. 10) with an Asian dinner. We were at a fireside listening to GI Jill...Miss Utah and came home to a very yummy homecooked dinner of eggrolls, pot stickers and sushi. Yum.

Catching Up
I finally got around to pulling pictures off the computer today so I thought I'd post a few for you so you can see what the kids have been up to.
Eli being creative with boxes.
Eli got this Wall-E display for Christmas. It's been fun but Wall-E was starting to fall apart so this is Eli saying goodbye before we take him out to the dumpster.
For old times sake we decided to give Sharon some baby food and see what happened. She didn't disappoint. This might be a good, "let's get ready for bath time" strategy.
Our kids are just really cute right now.
In this video the kids made guitars at our neighborhood preschool.

Jump and Shout---- It's a Snow Day! March 9, 2009
Due to powers that be, I am not able to upload current pictures. I can't find my cable and don't know how to use the camera card uploader yet thingy and so I am using whatever to announce that we might get to go skiing a few more times here in Utah because it snowed! If you go to Provo they don't have as much but the plows have been busy in Spanish Fork. So I am sorta ready to move on in my life with posting something other than Bryce stuff. However, most of what I have been doing 24/7 is Bryce stuff. This past week we had his friends over for grilling steak, courtesy of Bryce. I read in Elder Nelson's book this morning ( a very good book) The Gateway We Call Death that a family had a son preparing to serve a mission and was killed in a car accident . They gave the money he had saved for his mission to the missionary fund. Hmmm. We bought steaks and a really nice grill with money Bryce had in his ING account. We had a wonderful time watching his friends hover over the grill as they kept their eyes on their baby. Sunday we invited some of his mission friends over for steaks but we are thinking the new grill takes a lot more gas ( bigger) and so their steaks didn't get as done. Whaa. We had a wonderful time being with all of Bryce's friends and think the world will be in good hands when they are older. Life is good here in Spanish Fork. Each week I send some of my boy's Legos that they grew up playing with to Eli in Indiana and his mother reports that he has a new interest...building with Legos --so keep those Legos coming grandma!

Poem from Janice Reese Jan 2009

The hardest week is over, the guests have all gone home.
And now its very easy to let your mind to roam.
Don't forget the sadness since it makes the good times sweet.
Thin k of Bryce a blessing and knowing him a treat.
Remember how he smelled when that spirit came brand new.
How Father must have felt when he sent this babe to you.
Don't forget frustrations he may have made you feel.
That was part of living life and your love for him so real.
Remember how he laughed and played, the good times that he brought.
The struggles as a teen and the testimony that he sought.
And when the days seem extra long when your thoughts are filled with him,
Don't let his goodness fade away or your memories to dim.
Just thing of him there laughing, his blue eyes twinkling bright.
And bonding with his grandpas as they hug him for you tight.
And though it is not easy, the pain of loss will dull.
Our Father knows just what its like when he gave His son to all.
So know that you are loved by those here and those that's gone.
Especially by Bryce, your sweet eternal son.
